This event was another huge success!  Featuring representatives from various Community Organizations as well as local personalities who focus on this particular topic.  Guest speakers included:

Jennifer Northam

Attending Whitman College in 1987 led Jennifer to discover her inner small-town girl.  Since graduating and a brief stint away from Walla Walla, she has returned to raise a family, volunteer, and reclaim a position with the Downtown Walla Walla Foundation.  Often accused of “knowing too much,” Jennifer now holds the title of Events and PR Manager.  She is passionate about the downtown, her family, and music of all kinds.  www.downtownwallawalla.com

Starting as a freelance writer in 1995 led to a twice monthly column in the Union Bulletin in 1997.  Sheila has since written for magazines, other newspapers, and now is a full time staff reporter for the U-B.  Her beat covers health, social services, entertainment and lifestyles as well as feature stories.

In addition to being a full time reporter and columnist, Sheila is also a blogger and mother of six.  www.union-bulletin.com, visit her blog at http://blogs.ublabs.org/fromthestorageroom/tag/sheila-hagar/
